How to Book a Studio at DanceHouse
We’d love to welcome you to DanceHouse! Here’s how to book a studio with us:
1. Submit a Booking Enquiry
Start by filling out our Booking Enquiry Form to check availability and pricing. In the form, you’ll be asked for:
- Your contact details
- The date, time, and studio you’re interested in
- The purpose of your booking
- Any equipment or props you’ll be bringing or may need from us
- Whether your group includes anyone under 18 or someone with accessibility needs
- If you have public liability insurance and being aware of our shoe policy (to keep our floors in excellent condition)
2. Availability & Pricing
One of our Venue Officers will review your enquiry and get back to you with availability, pricing, and any further details.
If we don’t have a current copy of your public liability or rigging insurance on file, we may ask you to provide one.
If under-18s are involved, we’ll also send you a child safeguarding checklist to complete.
3. Confirmation & Cancellation Policy
Once the details are agreed upon, we’ll send you a confirmation letter. From this point, our cancellation policy will apply.
4. Contract & Payment
Our administrator will send you a contract and invoice. A deposit is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due before your booking starts.
Payments can be made via bank transfer or card (over the phone or in person).
5. Pre-Confirmation Checklist
At least three days before your booking begins, you’ll need to complete a Pre-Confirmation Checklist, which includes:
- A list of all individuals who will be using the studio/space
- Your risk assessment
- Any equipment you may need from us
- Any accessibility requirements
If you need a risk assessment template, you can find one HERE. For guidance on completing it, please refer to our [How to Fill Out a Risk Assessment] document.
If you have any questions at any stage, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help!
